Develops, implements and administers approved internal and external communication policies, programs and related activities. Directs the editing, publication and distribution of all Employees, Corporate, Policy holder and Public communications. Directs and coordinated investor relations communications and publications. Directs and coordinated all activities communicated through the news media. Coordinated public relations activities and public speaking engagements. Directs all media services activities, including audio and television production, and audiovisual equipment usage. Assists management in writing speeches, preparing articles, letters, press releases and other communications for release to Employees or the public as required or requested.
Work Settings
Office setting with some travel to meet with customers and suppliers. The average workweek is 40 hours. While many manufacturers operate 24 hours/day, this position usually works during first shift.
Education
Bachelors degree in related field and 2-4 years job related experience
