Operations: Entergy Corporation is an integrated energy company engaged primarily in electric power production, retail distributions operations. Entergy own and operates power plants with about 30,000 megawatts of electric generating capacity; it is the second largest nuclear generator in the United States. Entergy delivers electricity to 2.6 million utility customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Entergy has annual revenues of over $9 billion and approximately 14,000 employees. The nuclear businesses of Entergy Corporation (NYSE: ETR) are headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi. Entergy Nuclear operates five reactors at four locations in Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana under regulatory jurisdictions and five reactors at four sites in Massachusetts, New York and Vermont. In Oswego County, Entergy operates the 850 MW James A. FitzPatrick nuclear power plant in Lycoming, which is celebrated its 30th anniversary in July. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration awarded the FitzPatrick plant "STAR" certification in OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program in 2004. Sites that achieve STAR status in the program are a select group of facilities recognized for safety practices and processes that go beyond OSHA saftey and health performance standards.

Operations: The Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station has two boilingwater reactors. Unit 1 is a 609-megawatt reactor that entered service in 1969 and Unit 2 is a 1,148-megawatt reactor that began operation in 1986. As part of the company's balanced growth trend, Constellation Energy purchased the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station in 2001 from Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and other utilities. Constellation Energy, a FORTUNE 200 company based in Baltimore, is the nation's largest competitive supplier of electricity to large commercial and industrial customers and the nation's largest wholesale power seller. Constellation Energy also manages fuels and energy services on behalf of energy intensive industries and utilities. It owns a diversified fleet of more than 100 generating units located throughout the United States, totaling approximately 12,000 megawatts of generating capacity. The company delivers electricity and natural gas through the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE), its regulated utility in Central Maryland. In 2004, the combined revenues of the integrated energy company totaled $12.5 billion.

In April, Unit 1 completed its shortest outage to date while maintaining an excellent safety record. During the outage, all three low-pressure turbine rotors at Unit 1 were replaced. Nine Mile Point continues to work with the NRC on the license renewal application process. n 2004, Constellation Energy and Nine Mile Point employees contributed over $350,000 to support valuable community organizations and events.

Operations: At 1,042 megawatts, Dynegy's Independence Station began operations in 1994 in Scriba. Independence a natural gas-fired, combined-cycle facility that produces reliable and environmentally sound electricity and thermal energy. Independence is one of three plants in New York State owned and operated by Dynegy.

Dynegy Inc. purchased ExResSHC, the parent company of Sithe Energies, Inc. in 2005 for $135 million in cash and a consolidation of $919 million in project debt.

Operations: National Grid's New York distribution company (formerly Niagara-Mohawk) provides electric service to approximately 1.5 million customers and natural gas to approximately 540,000 customers in upstate New York. The company is based in Syracuse. ts parent company also has electricity distribution operations in New England that serve approximately 1.7 million customers across 5.400 square miles in Massachusetts, Rhode sland, and New Hampshire. National Grid USA's core business is the transmission and distribution of electricity. National Grid USA is a subsidiary of the international U.K. based National Grid. To be under one name and identity, Niagara Mohawk and National Grid's four other U.S. energy distribution companies, changed their name to National Grid. The change happened in conjunction with a global move to change the name of the parent company from National Grid Transco to National Grid and unify the global business under the National Grid name.



NORTHEAST BIO-FUELS

NEB is located at Riverview Business Park in Fulton, New York, about 25 miles north of Syracuse. The 420-acre Riverview complex was formerly a Miller Brewery. NEB will be situated on approximately 90 acres and will occupied 350,000 square feet, in what was once the Miller "brew house". Much of the brewing infrastructure will be renovated and adapted to "brew" ethanol. The total cost of the project will be approximately $165 million. Construction is expected to start in the first quarter of 2006, with production coming on-line in early 2007. All permits and approvals are in place. NEB will produce 100 million gallons of ethanol per year. NEB is expected to be the third largest plant of its type in the nation, and first in New York State and the Northeast. Approximately 100 permanent jobs will be created by NEB and its on-site partner-suppliers, Perdue Farms and BOC Gases. To supplement production of ethanol from corn, NEB is working with research partners, including SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, to make ethanol from "woody biomass" and other feedstocks.

Operations: Established in 1989, NRG has a high-quality portfolio of projects in the United States, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America. NRG Energy entered the Oswego County market in 1999 when they purchased the former Oswego Steam Station at a cost of $91 million. NRG has built a global portfolio of projects using such diverse fuel sources as fossil fuels and greenpower renewable fuels, as well as refuse-derived fuels and geothermal energy. Through the use of state-of-the-art technologies, they are able to produce low-cost energy in an environmentally safe manner. NRG Energy is headquartered in West Windsor, New Jersey with regional offices in San Diego, Calif., Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and development offices worldwide.
