Utilizes electrical/electronic/software engineering principles to perform assigned tasks in the customization of company product to meet specific, specialized customer needs. May consult with customers/users to analyze business needs and plan system requirements. Assists with design specification, coordination of interface requirements, and the coordination or monitoring of system development in all disciplines to affect an overall working system. May coordinate installation at the customer's location and provide training.
Work Settings
Office setting. The average workweek is 40 hours. While many manufacturers operate 24 hours/day, this position usually works during first shift.
Education
Bachelor's degree and 2 to 5 years of professional experience
