Supervises and conducts research and/or experiments leading to improvements to current products and development of new ones. This position is responsible for specific project work related to any number of tasks affecting the outcome of component integrity. May conduct quality tests on current products testing for performance safety factors, temperature conditions, strength of specific parts and determination of proper lubricants.

BS in engineering, or training in vocational schools or an associate's degree with related on-the-job experience
