In charge of credit department, responsible for credits and collections. Determine customer credit capacity, supervise compiling of credit information, analyze and interpret available information. Determine action to take in collection of past-due accounts where normal collection procedures have broken down. Determine terms and approve foreign shipments. Prepare or supervise preparation of data showing credit activities and status of accounts. Responsible for administration of methods and procedures. Assist in formulation of credit and collection policies, methods and procedures. Exercise normal supervisory functions.
Work Settings
Office setting. The average workweek is 40 hours. While many manufacturers operate 24 hours/day, this position usually works during first shift
Education
Bachelors degree and 5+ years experience
