Responsible for recruiting and making preliminary selections of applicants for factory and office jobs (clerical, technical, production, maintenance, supervisory, etc.). Familiar with employment matters in other area businesses, knows current labor supply and complement of available labor force. Should be familiar with local and Federal employment statutes. May do interviewing, but this is not the jobs major function.
Work Settings
Office setting. The average workweek is 40 hours. While many manufacturers operate 24 hours/day, this position usually works during first shift.
Education
Bachelor degree, plus 8+ years experience; PHR certification may be required
