Maintain and monitor manual or computerized inventory control system for raw materials and finished stock. Furnish data used by others to forecast goods in process estimates and schedules or future production needs and to prepare budget reports. Notify proper person when stock reaches designated order point. Compute unit value if required.
Work Settings
Office and manufacturing shop floor setting. The average workweek is 40 hours. While many manufacturers operate 24 hours/day, this position usually works during first shift.
Education
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
